The PROMISE Consortium will join the Government of Uganda and national and global partners in commemorating the 9th Uganda Water and Environment Week (UWEWK) 2026, taking place at the Ministry of Water and Environment, Luzira from 23–27 March 2026.
As part of the official programme, the Consortium will host a high-level side event titled:
“Understanding the Pathogen Flows Associated with Sanitation in Urban Communities and Health Care Facilities.”
The session aligns with the conference sub-theme on investment in science, technology, innovation and capacity building to strengthen water and environment management, and will provide a platform for advancing evidence-based sanitation solutions for urban health.
